summing it up, the fine bros tried to put a trademark on the very word "react" and faced criticism because "react" was being used by many other people and youtube channels.
No, they tried to trademark the WORD react (along with the phrase "Try Not to Smile or Laugh and others). This means that any video would be immediately taken down if it had these words in the title.
You are a liar, they trademarked one very specific way of doing videos, and encourage others to keep doing it, they even made a video about it, they are supporting smaller react channels, but they just say you can't do it exactly like them. Ever heard of react world?
Wow what is going on here? Can't a person ask a simple question about a topic? I posted the comment so someone would give me the correct info as so many things were being written about the fine bros. Can we not correct each other without calling each other liars and whatnot?
It all started out with a "I thought they were trying to"
Not that "I knew they were trying to"
If you want to start a shitfest and say someone was giving out false information, at least look at the comment correctly. She had that as an open-ended opinion, so that people could put their two-cents in. If that doesn't end this discussion, I don't care anymore.
"This means that any video would be immediately taken down if it had these words in the title." And where did you hear that? That is at best jumping to conclusions.
Again. Read the comment, instead of picking out words.
"No, they tried to trademark the WORD react (along with the phrase "Try Not to Smile or Laugh and others). This means that any video would be immediately taken down if it had these words in the title."
"Tried"
Meaning not done. true, they might have tried to trademark the entire phrase, but that would have drastically failed, as there are probably well over a million videos already with that phrase.
I don't care if you plan on declaring your intentions to the Finebros eventually, and I really don't care how sensitive you are. Just don't go arguing with people over trivial matters when it all starts off with an open ended opinion like "I thought".
The first two words in this comment thread. "I thought"
Meaning "Feel free to correct me, but this is what I heard"
That hurts, man. Like I know the fine Bros fucked up, but they'll get over this and we'll get over this. Hopefully they'll just go back to doing their normal stuff and everyone will forget this ever happened

With the amount of subscribers they're losing? This will be remembered
One thing that bothers me about this is the fact that people have been clicking on their recent videos and downvoting without watching. I hate that.. You should judge something by its content, not by who created it. That goes for everything, not just YouTube videos.
This could result in the downfall of YouTube. All these big channels have grown as big as they can be, so the next step is Grow and expand yourself. This was just a bad case of it but many other Channels could have the same fate

It just irks me when people are irrational.

Cheers!

Someone should scour the internet for bits of wisdom like this and publish it for a buck on Amazon
