There's no replacement for displacement. If you want to accelerate in a straight line, over an extremely short distance; then you can't beat American 'motorsports'.
But for a superior DRIVING experience like accelerating, braking, cornering, handling, and dare I say aesthetic, then you've gotta get an import.

Correct finally someone gets it, I asked my brother the same question and he said muscle so I told him that import will be better for racing over all but he won't agree.
I prefer the r34 or r35 or Subaru inpreza and today's don't look that bad in my opinion but I'll take a old muscle with maybe a new muscle cars engine for the power, but everyone is entitled to their own opinion
