So then the 1% has all the resources to themselves and can now multiply massively and we have no way to stop them??!!!

It's probably more so people can't sue them if they advertise it kills 100% of germs and they do a sample and they're like OMG THERE'S STILL GERMS.
That's how I've always seen it anyway

Too bad "feeling the bern" won't do anything to the 1% and the rest of the middle and lower classes would be the ones getting screwed.

This is surprisingly close to reality. It kills every bacteria it encounters (no survivors *dramatic sounds*)but the 1% is the ones it can't reach.
