Days of future past changed everything in the marvel universe not just the X men. So what he is saying could be true just because of that movie.

No. Without days of future past doing a soft reboot on the x-men universe, deadpool couldn't have happened. But the soft reboot eliminated the mistakes that were x3 and x-men origins.

But I didn't think the reboot would have affected that part of the story. Didn't origins take place before any of these "reboot" movies anyways? If so, Days of Future Past would only have reset the timeline basically from the first xmen film on. or maybe x3 and on, I cant remember.
