In actuality some baby snakes can be extremely poisonous, but I really don't think thats a problem with one the size of your thumb nail.

"extremely poisonous" is the wrong way to say it. "incapable of controlling how much venom they inject" is more correct; they aren't more potent per volume, they just shoot a lot more.
