This. Professor X actually has no telekinetic abilities. It's Jean Grey who has telekinesis.

Really you're replying back now with that comment. *I slowly clap in amazement* No, telekinesis and telepathy are very straining on the brain. It's the other reason why professor x didn't use cerebra that often. Also he wasn't/isn't, whatever universal you're reading, that powerful to hold objects more than a period of time.

Not to mention, most actions we do are based on muscle memory; we just do it. We don't think about it. Could you imagine, he would have to focus so much on his legs, he couldn't walk and talk.

The suit he uses to walk runs off of his power although it does strain his mind

I haven't read a comic book in 25 years so I wouldn't be surprised if they retconned this out but he was actually secretly capable of telekinesis. One time (I believe at Scott and Jeans wedding) he got so frustrated with Magneto that he used it to fling him into space
