Eh, I'm not too bothered, it's fairly accurate to the comics, and at least they get to cover their midriffs. And it looks like for the girls in the back it looks like they got bigger, more muscular women instead of the supermodel in the front. I shall reserve judgement, but I won't get my hopes up.
Actually, when you look at the soldiers of the city-states of Ancient Greece and those of Ancient Rome... the uniform of these women is pretty close to spot on accurate to that era.
The only arguments that could be had is the length of the tunic below the waist.
Curious as to which story they'll follow for her, made of clay or daughter of Zeus. I personally want daughter of Zeus, because then they could do the God of War storyline. Thoughts?
If you are badass and you look hot doing it more power to you i think. Plus she looks healthy not curvey ok but not superthin like women usually are in movies
I just want a real female warrior. A fucking walkyrie. A big square fortress of a woman mowing through her enemies like a bull through grass. Just once. She doesn't even have to be the main character. A side character who just flats anything she steps on.
Have you ever seen a Greek/Roman uniform? They didn't cover any of those parts except the shoulders. Granted, they probably are trying to make it sexier than those uniforms, but it's still historically accurate! And if they "desexualized" it in the ways you want, they'd lose that accuracy.
