There's one major flaw that I see with their logic. Why would you actively be trying to make it easier to sneak guns into places where you shouldn't have guns. Seriously, every single jack ass that is trying to make it easier to smuggle guns through security should be charged with murder or manslaughter each and every time their product is used to kill another person.
You've got the wrong idea. This is to make it easier for honest, law-abiding citizens to protect themselves from the goblins. Ever hear of concealed carry? The good guys do not pack a six-gun on their hip anymore.
And this is not new. This type of gun has been available for twenty years or better, they just used to look like pagers or Walkmans.
The argument of needing guns for self defence makes no sense! The main thing your defending yourself from are guns themselves! Self defence is not a solid reason for having guns everywhere.
Maybe not. But the reality is, There ARE guns everywhere. So, yes, I am defending myself from other people with guns and potentially, whatever else might happen where a firearm would be an asset. But, my husband and I were also trained by a USAF weapons specialist. We have a range on our property. We open and/or conceal carry everywhere. I can say, for myself and my family, we fully support our right to bear arms. We also fully support the background check process, but think the laws should also include a mandatory training program. Criminals are going to have weapons, either legally or illegally obtained. I definitely hope I never get into a situation where I do have to protect myself, but I'd much rather be prepared.
