My grandmother and me did this once lol. My family lives in the country so they have alot of cats and I MEAN ALOT. The cats keep away mice, snakes, scopions, and other things of this nature. But each cat is well loved and each has a name. Well one cat named Mixxy went missing. 2 months go by and we see vultures circling something on the road. Which ment they found something dead and they are eating. Well I go there and I see bones and fur and the fur is gray just like Mixxy so my grandma scares off the birds and I go grab stuff to bury the poor cat. A week after we hear weird meowing in my moms closet. It is Mixxy fat as hell and she was giving birth right there on my moms shoes lol. Turned out we buried a bunny but in our defense Mixxy was a very small cat.

I'm glad it was okay. Cats are my life.

Similar incident, except as my mom was explaining our cat's death I watched the cat walk over just fine. Luckily she didn't have the stomach to scrape a stray cat off the road.
