I would take 100° in a desert over 85° in Florida any day. It's not the heat that's bad, it's the 90% daily humidity.

Aw, how cute, Florida.
I live in CA. It regularly hits 100F+ in the summer here. I've moved into a 2nd story apartment on a 115F day.
