When I lucid dream it's weird because I can't manipulate certain things and it's really irritating. Once I had a lucid dream where this guy was being really dumb and I couldn't control/ get rid of him and I was facepalming. Like I'm literally in my own mind and I still have to deal with stupid people?!
I never remember any of my dreams, so a lot of times it's maybe a 10 second blank hole in time.
The only ones I remember are really weird but too convoluted to try to explain
We haven't reached that level of training yet. Honestly tho I haven't got a clue. @Banana, it takes time and practice to be able to remember dreams. First, you have to replay them in your head as soon as you wake up. If I'm not late or anything I spend about 5-10 min just actively going over what I just dreamed about. Over time you start to do it automatically.
WOOP WOOP! *high fives other lucid dreaming gamers* Lucid dreaming is beneficial because in my experience it is IMPOSSIBLE to get a nightmare. You control what happens.
Actually, you can train yourself to lucid dream. I know someone who started having them after enough practice in, like, a week. I'm trying myself and I've had one so far.
Yeah because learning how to control dreaming is totally beneficial like I'm both a gamer and a lucid dreamer but I don't see how it is beneficial or how my parents were wrong?
I keep hearing that lucid dreaming is rare but I have them at least once a night, I remember at least two of my dreams per night (apparently you have like 10 per night). How can folks not realize that they are dreaming?
Well just I'm speaking from my personal experiences but it seems for me that my mental processes aren't completely functioning while I dream, so it just don't register that I'm dreaming and I just don't recognize things as being abnormal.
That's like saying someone's rare disease is beneficial

How do I replay in my head what I don't remember, exactly?
Is that like remembering my birth? Because I can't do that.
