I mean, teachers are aware most of the time of the issues surrounding their job. They know they have their work cut out for them. I wish students would be upset as the eduction system instead of the individual teacher who is trying their hardest to make the most of everyone's time. The teachers don't come up with the amount of material they have to teach you, and with a limited amount of time, you can almost argue it's impossible to not assign homework. So when kids talk and don't pay any attention, then do poorly in class and blame the teacher, it's understandable. No one likes the situation. Both parties need to be respectful and make the most of it. Of course there are exceptions where some teachers don't actually teach or try, and other things come up, and some students do try and get punished or lumped together with a larger group. But mostly kids hate the system and blame the individuals. And teachers do this to students as well.
Since you used the term "primary" school, I assume you are from England. From what I've read, they used to do that a lot. Hopefully not anymore. I read Roald Dahl's biography and he was horribly abused by his teachers.
I hate when teachers ignore students they believe to be the smartest. I might have the highest grade in this class but who's to say I don't have a question? I've had teachers yell at me for raising my hand, and I'm sorry but there shouldn't be an excuse for that

That's ridiculous. How can you be yelled at for raising your hand? We learn by asking questions. Thats how it works
One teacher said something like 'You've raised your hand twice today it's time for others' and another said 'are you going to correct me on another mistake miss Wilson?'. These don't seem bad until they're being yelled at you in front of 30 other kids
Like, raising your hand to answer a question or to ask? Because if tis to ask a question everyones questions should be addressed. And the mistake thing was uncalled for, because if you're teaching something incorrectly, that's bad. And that's kinda obvious x.x
Then that's jank. To say that your question isn't valid just because you've already asked...it's kinda dumb to limit your students. Seems like lazy teaching.
Thank you for saying this! My parents are teachers so I know their struggles and currently my mother is marking just over 600 reports because the principle decided he didn't want to, the deputy needs to retire at 78 years old and no one else will. Then she goes to school and has students and parents complain because there is a spelling mistake.
In my opinion, being a teacher is a socially responsible job, because when he does will affect the next generation a lot. We shall not be an "asshole" to teachers, nor shall we be irrespective to them. However, it is a sin if they are incapable to teach well. Yes it is a sin. If it is just an ordinary job they are perfectly fine to be incapable. But since it is a socially responsible job if they are incapable and still take the job and ruin the next generation, they are having sin for this.
It's so true teachers have it so hard especially in Texas. They have paper work on top of grades and having to plan out their lessons. Then they have to deal with students, parents, and their co-workers.
At my moms school a little girl attacked her co-worker and left bruises. Instead of punishing that girl the school sent her back to class.
My health and PE teacher repeatedly and purposely embarresed me in front of many MANY others, including older kids, and he knew I was already bullied because of a certain physical problem that's gross so I won't mention it. I really don't see an excuse for it, and yes, everyone in my class knew he hated me.
Honestly I don't care who you are or how much you get paid, show me respect and I'll show you respect.
But my history teacher is a total dickhead. At my school we get graded on effort as well as academic achievement (so it's like 1=excellent, 2= very good and so on)
Three years in a row now, I have gotten a two from him every term.
I get perfect grades in every other subject, plus history is my fave.
It's really pudding me off
Some kids were ridiculously rude to my 58 year old teacher. I mean honestly, this teacher committed her ENTIRE CAREER to teach a group of assholes who had no respect for her or what she did. She died about halfway into the school because of a heart attack, and it was only then that people had felt sorry for being complete douchebags to someone who had been teaching for almost FORTY GODDAMN YEARS.
