I mean, I didn't know the meaning behind the word brexit but I understood what was going on and the consequences of what happened. But I guess that knowing the funny little joke in the word is more important than understanding whats going on
By your own standards you can't vote, I'm certain you didn't pay attention in history or government. Only people who can afford a good education can vote? Have you heard of the electoral college before?
Somebody looked into this and found the "400%" increase for this search was because something like 50 people a day were looking it up and it spikes to 200 people the day after the vote. Not those exact numbers, but a ridiculously low number out of millions of voters.
Yeah, that number would have to be about 600,000 to 700,000 given the vote results. Nowhere near that many people were so unsure that they were involved in those internet searches.
I'm all down for "quality over cuantity", but you can't really measure/test anything valuable for it
