There comes a time when you need to stop crossing oceans for ppl who won't even jump

Expectations of any kind will always end in disappointment.

But I'll have the same heart as they do once I've pulled it from their chest.

I don't ever expect anything from anyone, I just appreciate what they offer. And I never expect people to return favors, I do it because I want to. So... Guess I'm in good shape here.

I do nice things to people in the hope that someday they will do more nice things to others. Among other reasons
