I don't understand why they don't just cast teens to play teenagers. There are plenty of actors/actresses in the age range.

Well I actually asked one of my mates this, he teaches acting and has done for ages now, especially on screen- he says that teenagers can be hard to play, and that generally you only find adult actors who have the ability to play teenagers to any decent standard

I was not a very good teenager, I was awkward and clumsy in my role. Most people suck at being teenagers.

Because of this, I always thought people at school and college looked young, but it's just the way it was on TV when much older people played them
