These sentences don't need an Oxford comma, they're just poorly written.

Agreed. I would further argue that you don't need the Oxford comma at all, it's all down to sentence structure.

My English teacher gets mad at me for using the Oxford comma and says it's unnecessary so I purposely use as many sentences that use Oxford commas in my essays just to Piss her off
