I don't think they do not care. I think they are so jaded and distrusting of anybody that doesn't share their opinions that they do not believe the truth anymore. Every entity has an agenda and is impugn-able as a source of reliable information.
No, pay attention to their comments and interviews. They do not care. As long as it advances their agenda or puts welfare money on their debit cards her supporters couldn't care less what she does behind the scenes or what she has to do or say to get elected.
That's not the problem. The problem is they'd rather have a future with Hillary than a future with Trump. Don't blame them for picking the less painful option.
Honestly...no. The media would be all in a tizzy about a rival party and both democrats and republicans would focus on trashing them. Since that has t happened, we have choice A and choice B that will realistically win.
America, why do you only have 2 parties? It is so strange for Europeans, we always think of a democracy having several parties in their Parliaments and not 2 parties that take or leave the power for 4 years
Why do you think people don't care? This issue is, what is the alternative? Some one who does all of that, plus has a history of sexism, racism and has no political experience. No one is excite about Hillary. She's just what we have.
Do yourself a favor and actually look into Hillary's past behavior. She's been in politics for more than 40 years so it shouldn't be hard to find out what she is all about.
Not an assumption at all. When the opposition's supporters cannot give specific reasons they support said candidate, and can only repeat the bumper sticker slogans they hear in the media they don't seem very informed to me. Worse yet, when they steadfastly cling to "facts" that have been proven to be lies about their opposition or refuse to accept proven facts about their candidate I'd have to assume some form of mental illness or cognitive disability.
Regardless, if you spend any amount of time on social media it is painfully obvious that far too many people do not do their own homework. When they all repeat the same things, true or not, they have not taken the time to inform themselves. It doesn't matter what Hillary says; she has a long record we can judge her by.
No argument there.
Yes I freely admit I am a registered Republican, but only because I have no better option. I consider myself a Conservative, and the Republicans don't really like us.
I can deal with someone voting how they vote if they take the time to understand what the candidates really stand for and can say "Yes, I support that." I can't deal with people voting for someone just because Twitter says Bernie's cool or just because they don't like Trump's hair. (I honestly haven't found anyone who will admit supporting Hillary, they just don't like Republicans and always vote "D".)
I'm not a 16 year old on twitter. This is not my first elections. I don't just vote in the presidential election. I am well versed on quite a few issues. So you did make an inaccurate assumption that because I don't share your political views, I am stupid or don't do my research.
If you are aware that she wants to ban guns, finish taking over healthcare, open our borders even more than they are, tax the life out of the middle class, or prevent parents having any say in how their own children are raised and you support it; if you know what really happened in Benghazi, about the deal she and Bill facilitated to send uranium to a Russian puppet state in exchange for contributions to their foundation; if you know what she did as head of the Bimbo Eruptions Unit, what happened at the Rose Law firm, or why she was kicked off of the Watergate Commission, or if the email scandals don't bother you a bit; if you know who she truely is and you can stand up and proudly proclaim you and she are fellow travelers then by all means, vote your conscience.
No he is not; Hillary is a public figure, and has been for decades. There are no secrets to be revealed; no painstaking research needed to find out who she is. Hell the media even (sometimes) reports it. Chances are you are both too young to know about Bimbo Eruptions, Whitewater, or her involvement in Watergate, but you certainly have been on this earth long enough to have maybe heard about her private server and the 30000 deleted emails. Perhaps that the FBI is looking into RICO charges against her foundation? Just sticking with the last 4 years there are enough scandals you should have heard of at least one.
I have, but some of those are before my time, and if you want to argue against someone who simply doesn't know, providing your own sources will give you far more credibility.
I'm not necessarily trying to change minds here; I was originally simply advocating for informed opinions. Like I said, I knew many of the things I mentioned were too far back, but I assumed the recent scandals would be known.
I'm betting many users here could name several "scandals" involving Trump in a nanosecond.
I wait with bated breath for the few links that'll back up all of your claims. Hey, there's one ray of sunshine, at least. According to you, it won't be "painstaking".
I read the first one, but it's late so I'll have to save the rest for tomorrow.
I know they're trying to make some connection on how she handled (or mishandled) things in her private life and how she'll handle things as president, but to me, that's a very flimsy argument.
Of course nobody wants to admit to themselves that their spouse is having an affair. Least of all someone who lives and works in the public eye. I'd be amazed if she had handled that whole situation correctly, whatever that would mean.
I didn't read the articles I linked to. I didn't care whether they were critical or protective of her I just wanted to put the info out for you. I do know that some of the websites I linked to are quite liberal so I'm sure they are not all rightwing attacks. Regardless of whether anyone might believe she is guilty or innocent in all these scandals I am merely pointing out that there have been scandals.
I would vote for a retarded, syphlitic dwarf before voting for Trump. That man is a dangerous fucktard and unless you end goal is Fury Road you're an irresponsible ass clown for voting for him.
People are so eager to take memes and hearsay as fact that they will gladly support and endorse a woman who is less trustworthy than a Nazi trying to get a gay to take a shower, and is responsible for compromising national security and leaving Americans and allies to die.
Not at the moment.
His own party is almost as corrupt as the Dems, and they want to keep control too. Trump is an outsider and the establishment types don't want outsiders in their club. Trump's supporters are his supporters precisely because he is an outsider. They take it as a good sign that the Republican leadership, the ones they have seen sell out to the Democrats over and over, don't like Trump.
I will vote for Trump because he isn't Hillary. Plain and simple. He's not who I wanted to get the nomination, but he's who we got. Better a bad Republican than a good Democrat any day.
He is saying that he is not going to allow Muslims into the US, he says that he is going to expulse immigrants, even those whom are legal, and he is discriminative towards women
Last first; how is he discriminatory toward women? And if so why do so many women support him?
The "immigrants" in question are illegals. If someone is in a country illegally, they are not immigrants; they are invaders.
The Muslims are a whole different problem. Who is it that is perpetrating all these terror attacks? He has only proposed a TEMPORARY ban on immigration from known terrorist hotspots until America can find a way to better vet these people. Sounds reasonable to me to try to avoid letting mass murderers in.
And by the way, the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952 is what he is using as a basis for his proposal. It is a law already on our books. And, furthermore, it was written and passed by a DEMOCRAT congress, signed by a DEMOCRAT president (Truman) and was used in 1979 by a DEMOCRAT president (Carter) to ban Iranians.
You've proven nothing here.
@guestwho
Not all Muslims are terrorists, some attacks made by Muslims are from people that were from their country; and the only possible ways to stop terrorists would be from banning anybody to enter the US and blocking websites containing information about terrorism.
He has called women pigs and many other degatorive terms, and many women support them because they don't know about this.
He also has blacks, Asians and Hispanics working for him as he can pay them cheaply and they will not try to get a better wage so his fat ass can get more and more money.
The Iranian ban was probably due to the fear of them bringing their Muslim views into the US and wanted to keep good looks to the rest of the world by making them unable to go American territory. And the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952 was to ban the system of quotas that allowed some immigrants to finish their journey and to replace it by a system in which everybody can get in no-matter their race.
Plus, how are legal immigrants "illegal" to you? Some of them actually went through the process of getting a Visa or tried taking your nationality test
@somespanishguy "He is saying that he is not going to allow Muslims into the US, he says that he is going to expulse immigrants, even those whom are legal, and he is discriminative towards women"
.
Is illegal immigrant a race?
Is Muslim a race?
.
There is precedent for a temporary ban against muslims from potentially hostile nations entering the country (while we get a vetting process in place) During the 40's Asians were excluded by FDR (D), and in the late 70's Iranian Muslims were excluded by Carter (D). France should have considered such an action, there would be hundreds of French citizens on the right side of the grass. Illegal immigrants are inhabiting the country illegally. Tomorrow morning when you wake up walk into your kitchen, if I am sitting there making a sandwich would you alert the authorities and have me removed from the property? The sanctity of our nation is to be respected. China, Russia, Iran, Iraq and Mexico would all have you arrested for violating *tbc*
their borders. Does the United States not have the same right?
.
Discriminative towards women? I'm not sure how to address this allegation. Do you mean derogatory to women? Are you referring to his comments about Rosie O'Donnell? You may have something there, but have you never insulted somebody you are in disagreement with? "That cross eyed freak!", "That fat bitch!", "That smelly pig!" If you have uttered one of these are you any better? The biggest defense I hear for Hillary's corruption is "Well, every other powerful person is doing it too, why is she different?" Is this another double standard?
LOL "temporary"...
Just like the "temporary" fix for the "illegals" until we can "figure out" whether or not we want to reform immigration or just give lip service to it?
@pokethebear is exactly right on all counts.
@somespanishguy first: no, the purpose of the Immigration and Nationality Act was fighting the spread of communism. It had nothing to do with immigration per se. It was enacted during the "Red Scare" and the age of McCarthyism. It was never used for its intended purpose. When Carter put it in effect in 1979 it had absolutely nothing to do with Islam. We were at a time of very high tensions with Iran, and they had kidnapped 52 American citizens from our embassy in Tehran. Carter expelled Iranians (not all) from America and prohibited them from entry during this time. The fact that the Iranians were Muslim is coincidental. Please learn some history before attempting to recite it.
Now, I'm really confused as to where you get the idea that "legal" immigrants are "illegal" to me? I can only assume you may be referring to anchor babies? In which case, just because a child is born here, and we confer citizenship upon them does not in any way
translate to their entire families. The babies may be legal citizens; the rest of the family is not. This is especially true if they were not here legally to begin with. No other country in the world (that I am aware of) allows this, and neither should we.
And no, not all Muslims are terrorists, but how in hell do we know who is and who isn't unless we check them?
Of course we've got "issues" with our immigration system: Mexicans can simply walk across our border and be given more rights than legal citizens; Indians and Arabs can come in and buy our gas stations and hotels and get tax breaks out the wazoo and never have to assimilate; while others are given every conceivable roadblock. I used to work with a guy who has a Canadian wife. It took her five years to get legal status even though she's married to an American, and she still is not allowed to get a job or driver's license. I also met a girl in school a couple years ago from Indonesia who is married to an American serviceman. She had to wait five years just to get a visa to come to America to live with her husband! She wasn't allowed to get a job either, but she was allowed to go to college.
That said, it isn't our job as a country to "make everyone happier".
One is a giant piece of corporate Shit,
And one is motherfucking donald trump.

Stay strong in the "struggle", Stille.

Why couldn't some OTHER politicians run? You know, the ones that are pure and have your best interests at heart. /witheringsarcasm
