I know a couple where the wife is 43 and the husband is 65, I don't think that's creepy? They have 3 children and they are one of the happiest families I know

I guess some people are fine with it, and some people find it creepy.
Same gender marriage is fine because it is two consenting adults. Huge age gaps are not because one individual clearly has much more power over the other. E.g. 18/30
The 18 year old likely does not have a lot of money, a house, much status, a job, etc..
The 30 year old has more power to get away and also to potentially mess up the kid's life.
No... I mean for an 18 and 30 y/o to get together, chances are this 30 y/o is actively seeking a younger partner... Why?
>naive
>easier to manipulate
Etc
I mean I'm 17 and I would feel weird even dating someone a year below in school because of the maturity difference. There is definitely a marked difference in my maturity in the space of a year.
I want to say to find the youngest age that is considered "acceptable" to date, you take half of your age and add 7. So if you are 40, your acceptable youngest date should be 27. To find the oldest, you subtract 7 and double the number. So the oldest would be 66.
I'm 27. My husband is 54. We are very happy together and have been married for 2 years so far, but he's been my closest friend for almost 8 years. I was married to "the right age" before (1 year age difference) and he was an abusive prick. Age doesn't have anything to do with it if one party is an asshole.
My parents made 2 perfectly healthy children and a me (not sure that me classes as 'normal/healthy')
