Do you need to talk about it?

Not really. My mom is convinced that since my sister got 94 on her exam that she is above the average, and somehow therefore the smartest kid in North America. The problem is telling her it's not without hurting the ol feelings. Plus some people are mad about things, and it's generally kind of tense.

so...don't tell her? As long as she doesn't start advertising your sister as some sort of prodigy, you should be good

Holy guacamole ... 150$?! Are you freaking kidding me? That's so unfair. Passing tests with high grades doesn't necessarily mean you're super intelligent, just that you know how to learn stuff by heart (and forget it again after the exam). My parents used to give me 5 or 10€ for an A

Lmao I would've been grateful to be paid anything by my parents for my grades...
