Ugh, I hate people like that. I'm fat, but only because I eat junk and have absolutely no motivation to exercise. Granted, I'll probably never be a skinny person, and that may be genetics, but I can get fit, and these kinds of people need to get real!
I'm with you on being fat. I try to do the balanced diet thing, but it is hard to do when you work at a pizza joint for 9 months. We have very little that is healthy, so I eat in moderation. Happily enough, I pulled out one of my favorite shirts which hasn't fit me for a while, and now I can fit in it again. You will get there! I will motivate you!
Yes, genetic traits are real, guest. However, I don't think there are genetics that forcibly make you drink a 2-liter coca-cola, open a ranch dressing and order an XXXXXXXXXL pizza, all while refusing to exercise. Oh wait, there actually is. LAZINESS.
I won't lie I am still fat not because of what I eat it is because I don't get that much exercise. I am so busy with my college work, substituting, being a Sunday school teacher, and doing house work as a wife and mom, that by the time I have free time to workout I just want to relax and play wow or watch tv. And even though it seems I should be getting exercise by doing my jobs I don't because most of them involve me sitting. It is a mental drain. Only the house work is tiring.

I eat healthy and eat only small portions like in the morning I have a bowl of fruit and a.granola bar with water. Lunch is usally skipped because I never was a 3 meals a day person but I grab a snack of granola or juice or milk. Or something of that nature.
Dinner is a normal dinner. But I eat only a small plate of it. Like if it is tacos I will only eat one where 10 years ago I use to eat 3. What I did wad over the years I shrunk my food intake little by little and in the process I shrunk my stomach
You do you, you know? But (and I'm not saying you are) you can't make excuses for not getting exercise done. I completely understand that you would rather relax or play wow when you get the free time, as I am the same way. But, if you truly wanted to lose weight you would use that time to exercise. Again, you could be completely happy with the way you are and that's awesome. Just don't make excuses for yourself. I really hope you don't take this the wrong way, and I'm sorry if I offend you.
I'm not making excuses I am saying I do know why I am fat and at this time all I can do is diet. Which is helping but it is a slow process since I am unable to workout. The reason I said I know why I am over weight is because so many people claim they don't know why or they give the old o it is cause everyone in my family is fat. Well everyone in my family is as well but I don't sit and pout and blame skinny people or social media or even that their parents did it to them. I am saying I KNOW it is MY FAULT but I am working on it even though it is taking longer than it should but my bills need to be paid before I can care for my health because I have a kid and a family to care for. And by doing thos I am already well ahead of all the other people who sit there chugging soda and eat almost as much as an elephant eats in a day and yet say O it is cause I am big boned or it is water weight or it is cause I had a kid 10 years ago.

And I respect you for that. I feel like I didn't get my point across, that is on me. It's hard to do it over text. Basically what I am saying is that time you take to relax/play wow/watch tv can be used to exercise. It's fucking hard. I'm going through the same thing.. If you feel comfortable where you're at then that's awesome, truly. But if you feel like you need to lose weight then use that relax/wow/tv time to get exercising. It's easier said than done. I'm not criticizing you, please know that.
This isnt just about being fat and what that looks like. Consider also the heart disease, diabetes, etc. that these people have/will have. The public ends up footing A LOT of their healthcare. Hubby is a fireman and he sees the aftermath of this too regularly (medical calls).
