It might be raining in the first pic, rain can be hard to capture under certain conditions. (For movies, they sometimes mix water with milk) but I truthfully cannot say I know anything about either picture, so don't take my word for it.

Really? Because I see one man carrying his own umbrella while his wife smiles in the sun, and another man who walks ahead of his wife while having another man carry an umbrella to keep her dry.
