What about the idea that savvy investors (outside of wallstreet) who actually create a good or service are the only reason a middle class has someone to work for. Most of the population doesn't understand the gravity of risk vs reward when it comes to earnings.
Trump didn't need to be, nor is he a savvy investor. The risk to wealthy investors is very low. They tend not to risk their own money and not beyond what they can afford. In the mean time, the average american household make about $53,000 per year, can't invest in anything and is one bad transmission or burst appendix away from major financial trouble
.... I'm just saying the 1% should be paying proper taxes because they can afford it and because well funded schools, defense and infrastructure is good of everyone.
Oooh, oooh! Do I get to pick?
Smarter economists than I would surely figure it out. Besides, that's not the point.
This smug assclown calls himself "smart" for not giving back to the country that gave him the opportunity to become who he is (whatever that may be).
And yes, I haven't forgotten that his dad gave him more....
It's not about the tax rate. They find ways to legally and illegally hide their money. So it could be 100% tax rate and he probably still wouldn't pay taxes. .

Can't see how not paying federal taxes makes America great.

True but it's not the point right? We proudly pay taxes because we enjoy things like a military, roads, education etc. But that's just like my opinion man.
The point is President's should be held to a higher moral standard. Dodging paying taxes and verbally abusing people suggests he's not interested in the good of Americans. Rather he is just out for what he can get.
He's unamerican, and a LOT of money has been spend placing loopholes in the tax code over the years. It doesn't benefit us, it doesn't benefit the country, it only benefits the rich scumbags who essentially paid off all of our wonderful "public servants".
The Clinton money is public and available for scrutiny. They paid $3,624,455 for taxes in 2015. Their earnings were largely from speaking engagements. Are they disgustingly rich? Yep! Still, they paid their taxes.
Paying taxes is fine, it's when they start taking more and more out of my own paycheck is when I draw the line. I fully support in the only taxes you pay is on the items you buy. That way people can't evade taxes because we have to buy food, clothes, etc. to live. Raise retail taxes, take away income tax. Boom.
Trump didn't write the tax laws, they were written by rich politicians trying to screw over the very people who put them in office. People blast Trump for playing the game when someone else wrote the rules. And it's easy for Hilary to brag about the taxes she's paid when she doesn't include the money she made illegally.
No evidence needed for me. She has corruption on her face and a long history of telling lies with enough authority that people just believe her. When those lies are called out she just piles it on thicker. That distress on her face that resides behind the forced smile is a whole world of corruption that will come teetering down if she cant fulfill her paid-for obligations as president of the United States. And that pressure is slowly killing her.
No joke. She is the epitome of evil. All you need to do is take a look into how the Clinton fortune was created to make that deduction. Paid federal taxes or not, at least Trump created goods, services, and employment on his way to a fortune. What little good the Clinton organization has done was just the bare minimum to keep the nonprofit money machine moving. Its quite a discusting hypocrisy when you listen to what she promises while knowing her modus operandi.
If you're looking for a perfect, uncorrupted candidate, then you're going to be waiting till the day you die. Though I think Trump and what he says is a breath of fresh air. He is possibly the closest America is to working as a republic again like we are supposed to be. And he may seem like a scumbag, but as a business man you do what you are supposed to do to succeed in your goals. And I think it's about time we had someone with that type of mindset in the office.
I can send you plenty of links to videos of witty republican tv personal wondering through liberal crowds, picking out the dumb ones and making them appear to represent the entire group but it too would prove nothing.
Get off my high horse?
You don't know how taxes work, do you?
Since you're so pro-american business, I guess you have no problem at all with Drumpf shipping jobs overseas, eh?

Taking advantage of our atrocious tax code doesn't make you smart, it makes you unamerican.
