I had one of those in my old apartment in philly, but the bottom was a futon so it turned into a couch. It was one of the best investments I made since the apartment was tiny. I loved that bunk bed :( moving to the suburbs and buying a queen bed was my adulting moment :( I donated the it though, so win win.
