Journalists are just trying to get attention, scientists are just trying to inform people.

Ish, a lot of journalism now-a-days has been reduced to click bait articles because the main source of revenue is advertisements. Back in the day when newspapers were still king of media, journalism was loads better

Bottom line, not journalism. Barely even news reporting. I struggle to give it even that distinction without scoffing.
