Better have someone bang on that with a stick or he's in for a horrible surprise. An MRI is pretty loud.

My grandma was 87 when she got her first mri she is very claustrophobic. They walked her in the room and she asked if that is the machine they said yes than she asked will I be tied down they said no she asked will I be knocked out they said no she said you better because if you dont I will knock you out. He tried to lay her on the machine she gave him a black eye lol that is when they decided knocking her out be best

I've had an MRI but only on my ankle so I only had my feet in the machine. Really I think the hardest part about it is staying still and not moving a single muscle. One tiny movement will cause you to start over. Some MRIs can take an hour or two. Thankfully mine only took like 20 minutes.
