No it's just that the metric system is far more easier to use than the imperial system. In the metric everything is just sort of 1:1, while the imperial has these extra mind-boggling decimals on every unit that you'll find it very difficult solve word problems without a calculator, while you can do it quite easier in metric.
We still kind of use imperial in the UK, our road signs are all in miles/yards for example and most people I know weigh themselves in stones/pounds, babies weights are always announced in pounds and ounces.
Haha what lol!? Like a lady at my work has had a baby, a note got put up in the staff room: Little Ava arrived at 8.10 Thursday morning weighing 7lbs 2oz
I still don't get how could imperial system be convenient in anyway,
12 inches in 1 foot, 3 foot in a yard, 1760 yard in a mile
10 millimetres is one centimetre, 10 centimetre is one decimetre, 10 decimetre is 1 metre
"2 pounds of baby to take away"???
Like this???
12 inches in 1 foot, 3 foot in a yard, 1760 yard in a mile
10 millimetres is one centimetre, 10 centimetre is one decimetre, 10 decimetre is 1 metre
