He is actually going to not be king at all and his son William will become King on his grandmothers death or resign. She named him her successor though her son Charles has legal right to the throne and can go to court for his right to be King. But he for now seems to be fine with his son William becoming King.
That's not true. She hasn't named William her successor. The Royal Household has not confirmed this at all, there has only been public speculation on this since Charles married Camilla and a couple of shitty unreliable ragtag websites saying a bunch of BS on it.
You know she can't really do that? She can say whatever she likes, but she can't really make it skip, unless she somehow forces her son to abdicate from beyond the grave.

Yeah you're right, I thought she could but it turns out it's a law that she can't alter. I believe he may abdicate but that's just my personal opinion
I mean if I were him I would at least be king for a day. Maybe you abdicate after a day, but I definitely would want to be able to say "I've been the king of england.".
He is. The Queen has not confirmed that she's going to skip him and go straight to William, there's speculation that this is going to happen because a lot of people believe that he's too old to take over, he's not in touch with the public and compared to William he's not as well liked.
That still doesn't make sense though because she is as old as dinosaurs. I don't understand why she is still queen but hes too "old" to take over...? Doesn't make a lot of sense.
Prince Charles will be king when the miserable day when the Wonderful Queen leaves us. (God save the queen) Maybe not for long, but he will be king. Doesn't matter what Elizabeth does, or says, It will go to him.
