Those this happen to you? Or am I just a special little snowflake?

My laptop has issue
Sometimes when I turn her off like normal way
She refuses to power off completely
After 10 mins even a whole night, the power button still has light
And I have to do the thing

some laptops activate the standby / sleep mode by default if you click the power button. you can change that on the right icon in your taskbar / system settings. there is a option where you can change it to turn off complete, or go to standby. some laptops are in "go to sleep mode"-mode by default. help with change the settings (special searched on google for you :3) -> http://www.pcworld.com/article/160826/Change_the_Function_of_Your_Laptops_Power_Button.html

oh, okay. then maybe you close the cover / display to soon.. if you do this too soon when the laptop is not shutdown completly, it's like a time-freeze and the laptop stops doing the "shutdown stuff".

try it maybe the next time^^ if not..tell me :P i think i can help you someway with this problem if this will not fix it.. maybe run too a anti-malware scanner .. just to be sure :/
