Well, a mysterious guy pulls up beside kid-with-glasses (let's call him George), and rolls down his window. When the other guy gestures for George to roll down his window as well, our hero is nonplussed but curious, and unthinkingly complies. As soon as his window is fully down, the other guy rolls up his own window and pulls away, leaving George in a spiral of confusion.

This strange occurrence, as per the title, is being used as a metaphor for Life. I would assume it correlates most directly to the times Life sets you up with great expectations, or at least great curiosity, only to pull away without a word... as if the whole thing were merely an exercise in disappointment and confusion.
*coughs politely* I do, however, answer to Thor. There was a wide consensus that "Poptart" takes too long to type, simply "Tart" makes me sound quite rude, and "Pop" can have some... Unpleasant connotations. Thus, many have elected to shorten my name to Thor.
