And when we found out there was no one there to enslave, we never went back. Every mission ended the same. "Yes Sir, we checked the assigned area. No indigenous people here to enslave. Maybe the next mission will have better luck."
Historians have long ago determined that the pyramids were NOT built with slave labor, and the Chinese who worked on the railroads (and he conveniently forgets the poor Irish here, as well as the many other immigrants and Americans) were NOT slaves at all.
This guy is an amazingly ignorant dickbag.
I'm not saying I'm any better. I'm just saying you're worse for thinking you have it just as bad as other people. You're even shittier of a person than I originally thought.
Sure, I don't mind. You don't think I realize that you don't care? Unlike you I'm not a self centered cuck who depends on two neurons to perform the work of several billions.
But I'm not so insecure I have to resort to immature name calling.
The problem is that, like all hateful liberals, you think just simply "caring" is enough. It's OK for you to still buy every Apple product as long as you make a show of decrying Foxconn's business practices.
If you really cared you'd avoid supporting these companies.
You talk like a liberal and you don't refute my assumption that you are a liberal.
I've lived long enough to learn that if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck... Well, it's most likely not a hyena.
@stream_42 Stop explaining to the people who think they're in same condition as 21st century, or any other slave workers. They're not worth it. Chinese weren't literal slaves, can't believe I'm explaining this, they weren't in shackles, but they were exploited. They weren't brought there like Africans, but taking cheaper workforce is same and using people as tools is definition of slave work. Working more than a mule and being payed less than a mule.
I know they're not slaves, I know they get paid. It's still shifty conditions though. Also not a liberal, mainly because we don't use those terms very often where I'm from.
Also... "getting payed" doesn't have to mean nothing. Workers from Africa, ex eastern bloc or Serbia (not being part of EU) working illegally get payed... maybe (it happened many many times my brother was working here, in Serbia with construction companies, legally, and when calculations were done there was simply not enough money for paychecks. I worked in many places for free), but even if payed, another exploiters take their money in a blink - "Rent is ten times higher, fuck you, pay it or I'll replace you" "100$ for 1 pizza slice, I'll buy it for you". There're always those sorts of people.
There's evidence that suggests the pyramid builders were volunteers (as it was a great honour to work on a structure showing glory to the pharaoh). They also appear to have been well-fed, since they found bread and beer making equipment in their residential village. Most interestingly, archaeologists found cattle bones among their rubbish, including young cattle, indicating that the workers ate a good amount of veal! (Which is surprising because in that time only the elites could afford to eat cows, poor people ate mostly bread and sometimes pigs).
What are you people talking about. Greek slaves (or human tools as they called them) were living in normal houses, eating very normal, they were educated (I mean while being enslaved) and some rose to prominence as respected individuals, but they were slaves. Being slave is not just about food or clothes. If you don't understand it, how can I explain you.
The archaeological evidence from the workers' village (Heit el-Ghurab) suggests that these people were very well taken care of, eating the best meats and even having access to medical care (as evidenced by skeletons found with healed bones). If they were slaves, it probably would've been easier to mistreat them until they die and then replace them. But building the pyramids was, relatively, a cushy job and would've drawn many volunteers out of their villages to join the project.

Oh and just out of curiosity, who made the electronic device you are preaching from???
