When I get those calls, I answer them and just breath heavily down the line before hanging up.
But one time, this woman called me and got mad at me for doing that, she put her son on the phone an everything and they were demanding to know who I was even though they were the ones who called me.
I keep getting random scam/fraudulent calls for some reason, so I just reply to everything in weird voices. One time someone said "thanks or wasting my time" even though they were the ones trying to scam me ._.
I just hate that awkward "oh sorry... wrong number"
Why aren't I ever the RIGHT number!

I was in a short play called "Sorry, Wrong Number" and I was the one who murdered the main character, and said the most important line.
"Sorry, wrong number" and the room went wild
Am i the only one who is okay with phone calls
Like if I got a missed call from an unknown numbers, I would call back asap
Like what if it's something important
It could be your security company, your credit card company, a problem with a reservation you made, your utility payment was mixed up. Of it is a telemarketer just tell them to stop calling.
If it's important, they'll leave a message. There's a scam where they call from a local number, hang up quickly, then when you call back, the number is rerouted internationally and you get charged out the wazoo for making the call.
I agree usually if its an important call they will leave a message. There's a local scam about utility payments being "mixed up" that ask you for your credit card info to "fix it". Don't get fooled guys!
We try not to because we have fake debt collectors calling us. But they're all calling us for my mom but it's with a known scamming company, not an actual company we'd owe anything to. And they call ALL of us looking for her, which I think is illegal or something.
During summer, there were incidents of a group of people calling random numbers, and claiming that they were calling from the police station, where the recipient's daughter or son was being held for hitting and killing someome with her/his car.So they demanded 10.000€ to let her/him go without anyone knowing about it.They would then ask where the person lives so they could pick up the money. There were times of people falling for that and ending up being attacked.Especially old people or old couples who lived alone. It happened to my grandfather as well, but he was calm enough to hang up and then call each of his 5 kids to make sure everything was alright
