Scale of light pollution

My favorite thing about being in the middle of the ocean is the stars. Also crossing the equator and seeing a whole different set of them.

Where I live it balances between 3 and 1

Suburban for me

It's so hard to have 1 nowadays

Sadly, it's super difficult for ppl to understand what they aren't seeing in the night sky when they haven't been past the suburbs.

Due to the low population and artificial lighting in my city it balances between 3-1 and it's absolutely stunning every time you look up its bound to impress

My area would be a 4 there are two fair sized cities near me.

I'm a 4. Wish I was 3.

Where I live it's usually around a 3, but sometimes in the winter it's closer to a 2 or a 1
