Well a tiny little ice cube in boiling water won't make it lukewarm, just a tad bit colder. And it's like a tablespoon of extra water, just leave the teabag in two extra seconds

I don't know if anyone has said this sofar and I realize it's not a funny reply: pour boiling water into the cup without a teabag, wait 60-90 seconds, empty it, then put in the teabag and then pour fresh boiling water in the cup and let it steep. Et voilá...
