(Aside from the people thing) I agree. What if I want a Labradoodle because it works best with my living situation, and there aren't any in shelters? Or there aren't any shelters anywhere close to me. (honestly the closest "shelter" is a four hour drive from where I live. It would be fucked up to take an animal that barely knows me, and my car, and make them sit in the truck, or back seat in a kennel for four hours, plus with stops. That's terrible.) Especially if there's a Labradoodle breeder that lives 45 minutes away from me.
You can't just make people do that
Like point at them and go ''hey, don't make kids and go adopt'' or ''no more puppies, go adopt some''
But I think it's more reasonable to say, don't make babies if you can't afford them
And by ''afford'' I meant feed them, give them warm clothes, home and proper education
We could always make birth control more affordable and actually teach kids about birth control options rather than abstinence only in sex ed. Might help with that whole unwanted-children-often-leads-to-abuse/neglect-and-removal-from-parents situation
And allow abortion to be accessible, as in any person would be able to get an abortion at a reasonable price within a reasonable amount of time with a reasonable amount of effort.
It's been proven that areas with better sex Ed and easier ways to access contraceptives have lower needs for things like abortions, so I would assume it would also mean that you would have less pregnancy from people who shouldn't be parents ?
If they cant afford to have a baby why did they choose to have sex? Like there are multiple forms of contraceptives so if they were so broke why not choose all the ones you can i highly doubt people are having all contraceptives break down at once. Also I shouldnt be penalized for your decision
idk i just know someone decided to smash probably did not use all the available precaution gets pregnant and now i have to pay money because of their carelessness
some people aren't aware of all the precautions that can be taken, and have false or no information about reproduction. And yes, our tax dollars would be paying for some of the programs they may use, but the CHILD is the actual person who "pays"... and let's try to remember that children are literally the future of our society.

If they can't afford to have the abortion how do you expect them to afford the medical bills that come along with having the baby ?
Less or more, it still does
Is that true?
