The advertisement capitalized on using ongoing protests by a contentious and charged sociopolitical movement.

Can i just say, that i feel so angry/sad about what happened to that man. And if anyone saw the second video where he is bleeding and standing in the plane, how do you feel? i feel so sad for this man. what happened to him makes me so sad, and i dont know where to chanel that?? like, who do i tell/ ask/comment whatever to help them know what they did was unacceptable??
Thank you! I know that people right now are posting about the mans past, but i don't think that matters at all. the way they treated him was shocking and inexcusable
Do you guys realise that that man chose to use UA's services. Nobody has any right to keep their seat on the plane because flights are not right's, they are a service. The fact is that federal officers told that man (perfectly within the rules and laws) that he had to leave the plane. Of course it could have been handled better but that man brought it on himselfe when he chose not to obey the laws and rules of air travel. UA didn't do anything wrong here.
She's woefully misinformed. If she wasn't, she'd know they weren't federal law enforcement officers.
She'd know that FAA regulations prohibit bumping a passenger from a flight they have already boarded.
She'd know you don't re-accommodate a passenger by giving them a concussion and beating them senseless to dragging them off the plane.
If she's right then why have those "officers" been placed on leave? Why then has UA hemorrhaged 1.4 Billion dollars of market value? Why then has the Federal Department of Transportation launched an investigation? Why then has UA issued refunds to all the passengers on that flight? Why then have so many of their past indiscretions come back into the light?

Financial decline of a company is hardly a measure of legality or even moral correctness. TSA agents are indeed federally controlled as they are an arm of national security. They have all of the athority in the world to remove people after they board. I can give you multiple examples of why boarding a plane doesnt exempt anyone from removal. You're being emotional, not rational.
He's bleeding from the mouth! He got a concussion! He lost two teeth! They literally DRAGGED him off the plane! He suffered major physical harm and you're saying "UA didn't do anything wrong here"???

So the fallout of this continues, Continental has lost 1.4 Billion dollars of stock value and the Department of Transportation has launched an investigation.
