What the hell kinda spiders y'all dealing with that just let y'all pick them up slowly? All the ones I see do their best Usain Bolt impersonation when I try to get them.

Of course a spider that you catch inside the house and put outside will more than likely be dead fairly quickly. They live and have adapted to living almost exclusively indoors. This would be like someone picking you up from your house and dropping you off the outback.

spiders are extremely delicate. a fall can crack their exoskeleton and they die. also if they loose their leg they will bleed to death. they walk by increasing the blood pressure in their legs. they don't know how to stop just one leg so they bleed out. this might seem like a good idea, though it would likely kill them after they are let go. also i have never met a wild spider that just sat there and let you catch it.
