How do we tell though? Are we expected to look inside every screw we see or something?

I would personally suggest taking advantage of stores' return policy and trying them on at home. This was you know there aren't any lurking creeps watching you change and you will see how you actually look in the clothing time of choice. Lighting and mirrors in stores are known to be altered to make the fit seem
better than it actually is and persuade you to buy it.

Its actually legal to put cameras in dressing rooms in a lot of US states but most of them require signs saying youre being recorded in there

I carry a small pointy object everywhere I go (pen, paperclip, thumbtack, penis, whatever) so I'd start scratching up the lens.
