I would personally suggest taking advantage of stores' return policy and trying them on at home. This was you know there aren't any lurking creeps watching you change and you will see how you actually look in the clothing time of choice. Lighting and mirrors in stores are known to be altered to make the fit seem
better than it actually is and persuade you to buy it.
I think in a lot of states that do that they also have it where they don't even record because people probably would get angry if someone could somehow copy the file that had them changing on it
