O no what will they ever do with out Wikipedia. Guess they will never learn anything from the internet again. Cause Wikipedia is the ONLY SITE that gives information on stuff. Not a single site other than Wikipedia will do that. All the rest are for social media and dating apps. Gee poor poor kids.

@mrscollector wikipedia is the first source you can get informations who are to like 90% right. the wikipedia guys correct most of the wrong informations really fast, and this makes wikipedia to a realative good source for informations. other webpages could write every fake information down they want and you would not known it's fake because you don't have any chance of validate it without searching a long time just to validate a information. if you need to make homework or something, you don't want to spend 1-2 hours to validate just the informations and then do your homework after that. people have other stuff to do than homework in their life.. you can't spend hours and hours of the day just for homework. most of the homework you will get today is even too much from the length.. and mostly it's not even help you in your later job life.. so basicly you just do homework to do something.. spend time.. not to learn stuff you need. like 90% of the homework i did as a child is useless.
Lmfao wikipidia isnt credible I can go on there right now and go to the information on the civil war and change it to say the south won the war. I can go to the page about the moon and say it was really a giant pizza. I can even go to a page about king Henry the VIII and say it goes divorced, eaten, zombied, divorced, eaten, killed him. And no one will stop me. It could stay that way for months or years if not noticed right way.
A good student knows this and doesnt base their information on a site like this.
O and if you didnt know schools have libraries where you can find all sorts of information. In a book
Wikipedia itself isn't entirely credible, but they do list credible sources.

@mrscollector i didn't say it is. and i said that the guys there will fix wrong informations really fast.. you know why? because not everyone can write stuff there.. if a guest or some new user post stuff there, it will first get reviewed..and if it is wrong, it get fixed / removed. as a new user you can't simple change facts.. it will be fixed soon in a thing of 1-2 minutes if not faster. so it is a really good source for information gathering..because lots of people watch what newbies post and edit there.. if its not true, they will not let it online.
To go and say a whole country of students is screwed because 1 site is gone is like saying welp no one in america is ever going to find true love or get married now because tinder was shut down.

think it about this.. if this would happen in your country, it would be the same.. if not more struggle.. this is censorship of informations.. nothing else. wayne in which country it happens..it's bad.

Trust me, I've tried changing information like you said and it will not work, you can't even get to the point where t publishes because the bots will instantly get you, Wikipedia isn't as bad as some people think it is

yup. i did a few ago really tried to help wikipedia and adding articles or something..or add stuff to articles..really tried my best.. got everytime slapped for it because it was "not good enought"..it's not easy to make fake stuff in wikipedia happen..even if you try to add valueable stuff it will not happen easy.
