Bit over a year ago, school sword-attack in Sweden

At least kids won't accidentally kill themselves and their families with a sword.

That wouldn't be the fault of the gun, but irresponsible parents. You can't put blame on inanimate objects.

Except the victim count will be kept much lower with a sword. You can't open fire on an entire cafeteria this way.

It's true. Hacking people up with a sword takes a lot of effort. People are more difficult to stab than you think, especially with a heavy and awkward sword.
