It's not Muslim, it's terrorism
Those people do not at all follow the rule of Muslim
I'm not religious at all but I tell you, real, good, righteous religions do not tell people to kill innocent human being on the name of any God

That's the it.
While I do know peaceful Muslims(one goes to my high school), Islam was a violent religion created by a guy hell-bent on making an empire of bodies.
"Fight against such of those who have been given the Scripture as believe not in Allah nor the Last Day" 9:29
"Therefore, when ye meet the Unbelievers smite at their necks.." 47:4
"Soon shall we cast terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers.." 3:151
"O ye who believe! Fight those of the disbelievers who are near to you, and let them find harshness in you, and know that Allah is with those who keep their duty (unto Him)." 9:123
Straight from the koran. Yup, real peaceful, isn't it?

Ooh, ooh, these too.
"And utterly destroy all that they have, and do not spare them, but kill both man and woman, infant and nursing child, ox and sheep, camel and donkey."
"Prepare slaughter for his sons because of the guilt of their father. Let them never rise to possess the earth or cover the face of the world with cities."
" but the women, and the little ones, and the cattle, and all that is in the city, even all the spoil thereof, shalt thou take for a prey unto thyself"
Oh wait, this is the Bible.
See it's pretty easy to make an argument against Islam or Christianity, or really any religion or ideology when you take things out of context.
Context is important but I personally think both the bible and the quran are fucked and backwards. Christians just don't follow old testament stuff and christianity already went through its violent phase. There are, however, Muslims that DO follow those awful teachings in their fucked up book and are dangerous.
Those are Old Testament quotes and New Testament trumps Old Testament according to Christians, so they don't do that. And how does the context from the violent Koran quotes at all change their meaning? Read them again and rationally decide whether or not context justifies their violence.
That's what I said, christians don't follow the OT. And I do think those quotes are good examples of the backwards teachings of the quran but I just meant context is important to fully understand them
How is being critical of a religion at all racist?

@diyrogue rosalinas said that terrorists don't follow the rules of Islam.
Third said people should take a class or read the Quran.
Guest said that the news report never implicated Muslims.
The thread where third mentioned dominant white culture spreading violence, and was downvoted and mocked.
Also, for the record, I'm totally okay with being critical of a religion, but not when the criticism is riddled with logical fallacies (like quoting out of context when it comes to Islamic violence, but requiring others to have context when quoting the Quran on peace and harmony). And that's more directed at the internet in general.
Try reading something about Islam that isn't an anti-Muslim website.
Michael Coogan did a great book on World Religions, and "Understanding Islam" was great, but i cant recall the author right now.
1. Muslim terrorists DO follow the rules of Islam but they can interpret things differently to justify their actions, otherwise they wouldn't be claiming they did.
2. Third is a well known ass on the site so that's one explanation.
3. While the article may have never said it, that doesn't mean there's a lot of terrorist attacks from people of the Muslim faith claiming they're doing it for their religion.
4. Third is blaming white culture in that, seemingly to imply that they're the only ones who ever conquer and destroy. And again, is a well known asshole.
I won't argue racism here. Anis Amri was killed by police in an arrest attempt. Germany defended itself and served justice as best it could. Amri had been linked to terrorist organizations and German intelligence was aware he had tried to organize and recruit for suicide attacks but decided not to deport him. Look at the USSR, manzanar, etc. you can't punish people who MIGHT commit a crime because of certain traits. The majority of violently incarcerations are young, poor, males. Should we extend the proposed treatment of Muslims to that group? All religions have links to massive violence and death, even atheism. At the point he made the threat and attempt at violence his politics, faith, and race were irrelevant. He had made clear intention to violence, up until that point or the actual commission of a crime people must have equal rights and enjoyments until they prove as an individual It should be otherwise. Group generalizations are the primary basis of racism.
I didn't say anyone had. You do bring things to the point though. It's always a game of "us versus them" with the question being who you decide to lump together. So those lumping all Muslims together as violent, and those oddly focused on the religion of a criminal as opposed to the multiple factors that lead to a given crime- what is the point? If the whole world conceded to the view that Islam on the whole were a faith of violence and terror, and unable to peacefully coexist with others? What course of action would be prescribed? What would be the "solution" to the problem of the people of this given faith? That is the very important part left unsaid here. We have seen in history that noble or not, an idea can turn out good or bad depending on how it is exercised. So how would this idea be exercised for the good of those concerned? How was Germany not allowed to defend itself or how could it have other than prosecute the criminal or acting when first warned? The point of the OP.
Who are you talking about when you say fighting to stay alive ? Because it certainly isn't the people migrating to other countries then getting pissy when they don't get exactly what they want
Everyone was fighting to survive historically. History isn't just white people conquering and everyone else defending themselves. Everyone's been invaded and had to defend themselves.
Notice how people didn't say this before...i find it interesting that now that we have a president from the right wing it's more "visible"...but yeah NOW Muslims are violent...let me offer my input while I tell YOU the practitioner of the religion that you're doing it wrong because me and my right wing buddies can't be victims of the big and scary immigrants and minorities
@iblazel yes, actually, the RELIGION is peaceful. Kindly remember to avoid confusing it with the extreme practitioners. White people are not inherently bad, however the culture which originated in Europe along with the rise of "Christianity" is pretty fucking toxic. The world would probably have been better off without it.
@third Once again you reach a new level of idiocy. Christianity has moved beyond burning little girls and nailing heretics to crosses. The same is true of Hinduism, Buddhism, and pretty much all religions except for Islam. Secondly, white culture hasn't done anything worse than black, brown, yellow, or red cultures. Claiming otherwise only displays a seemingly intentional ignorance of history and of current events.
I'm the idiot? You continually demonstrate a remarkable inability to differentiate religion with its practitioners. Cristianity isn't violent, and it never was. Neither is Islam, Judaism, Hinduism, etc... the violence comes from people who deliberately misentrpret it to justify their prexisting desires.
Jews and Christians used to do the same shit terrorists due today, Hindus and Buddhists both have attempted to wipe out entire cultures in the name of their religion.
