When women agree with compliments #2

Manners says you reciprocate kind words, or thank the giver. She thanked him, and said she also liked her hair, she did not say there was anything special about it, simply that she likes it. She didn't reply "Everyone does" or anything ungracious, it's her right to do if she chooses, but there is a such thing as playful arrogance. He then warns her like a child instead of moving on as if she could or should change herself to please him. Withholding or threatening to withhold interest from her as if 1. That's a threat she should fear (conceited much?) and 2. He is in a position to dictate how she behaves. Both reduce the interaction to one where she is a plaything for his amusement and not a person. By not reciprocating his compliment she closed a door on him, in essence saying there isn't anything of his she wants to compliment back. In dating if you aren't interested that's sadly probably best, especially with F-boys who take manners for interest. He didn't show manners in his reply.

Of course you like your hair, why else would you take good care of it? Same with people who workout and eat well, they do it because they like their body and want to treat it well, and they KNOW that their work is paying off and they're proud of it, because they came a long way to look that way, so why exactly is it cocky to agree with a compliment? Yes it is cocky to say stuff like "Yeah obviously everybody does" or "Then go stand in the line" but saying "Thank you, I like my [something] too"? I see nothing wrong with that.
