No, it indeed doesn't. But the thing we call a a day is the time it takes the earth to revolve around its own axis, not around the sun. That's a year. DUH

Let's think back to many years ago, folks, where astronomers thought that the Earth was the center of the universe. Hence why they thought the Sun revolved around the Earth. Sadly, there are still people who think that the Sun revolved around the Earth. No, i dont know why, so please DON'T ask.
