She's opening the House of Lords. She does a little speech about current issues and declares the House of Lords open. That's it. Y'all acting like that's where she sits all the time. It's not like she designed it to look like that. It's looked that way for many years prior to her coronation.
so that chair sits empty most of the time? That's your point, sell the chair and feed homeless people. Every other public servant gets a basic office wheely chair

Wow. Such clarity. You're a genius. Because there's not enough charities that ALREADY do that (!) Homelessness isn't a problem that can be fixed by selling a chair (for the record it's an integral part of the structure I believe so can't be moved) it needs to be solved by the government and it's people. And the Queen isn't just a basic public servants. She's a MONARCH, a symbol of the Country and continuity. She does a shit ton for the Country, charity and works almost constantly.
Is growing up poor supposed to excuse all the dumb shit he says? He lucked out and got out of poverty and now he thinks that his personal experience is the ultimate truth. "Just stop being poor, just work harder." this may work for someone and I am in no way discrediting the work he has put into becoming who he is now, but there are people who work two jobs and can barely afford to live. The fact that he had to overcome issues doesn't make him any less of a moron. It's really like a lottery winner telling you to sell everything you've got and buy lottery tickets because that's what worked for him.
Carson says some stupid shit. I won't argue about that, but he didn't climb out of poverty by winning a lottery. He put in work to get where he is now.
"I am in no way discrediting the work he has put into becoming who he is now" I wrote that specifically so people wouldn't think that I believe he just sat on his ass and did nothing, so please read comments twice before commenting.
