She can afford a car and a gym membership. You can get a brand spanking new bike of good quality for 300-500 bucks and a good quality used on for cheaper. She can afford a bike... dipshit.

But a stationary bike is just safer that road running.... and some people never learnt how to ride a bike well enough to attempt road cycling
