I've got a 60lbs rednose female, sweetest dog I've had. I've previously had an Irish wolfhound and a Lab, but this pitty loves our little boy and our two cats and is happy to chill with me at home or go for a run or go for a drive; she's just a happy dog. I'd recommend an American pitbull terrier to anyone looking for a medium to large sized dog, short hair, good with family, just meet one and you'll agree.
I have two bluenoses, both rescues, one 95 lbs and the other one 60. Sweetest a dogs you could ask for. It's not the breed. Just because they may look scary to some doesn't mean they are. For example when I take my 95 pounder to petsmart, most people avoid us. Just today I was there with him, we were in the dog toy aisle and he's playing and excited like the happy boy he is, and I see a man turn into the aisle, his face goes ghost white, and immediately turns around like nope nope nope nope nope. I mean, I can understand that some people have phobias and things from big dogs, but not that many people have that phobia and it happens very frequently

lol thanks for the downvote, guess that person doesn't know shit about pitbulls
It's sweet that there are good dog owners out there and all, but the question is not "should we ban bad ownership of pets?" but "how do we stop bad ownership of pets?" Because it isn't as simple as staring at a guy and saying "yep he a bad one" when you can just ban the dogs altogether so it lessens the chance of shit people having ownership of the dogs.

I probably sound like I'm on drugs, but I'm serious.

Funfact: Pitbulls are one of the best breeds to have around kids. Pitbulls tend to be more protecting and patient with children, when other dogs would lose their cool faster
There are no bad dogs, just bad owners. Short story: My cousin used to travel frequently to his house in the metro, he has seen these 3 dogs in the metro a couple of times and once he saw these two dogs and one was dragging the other back from the tail and the ears, he was wondering why the dogs were doing that. Another day he saw the same dogs and he had a small pack of treats for the dogs, one by one they were getting closer until this dog in particular was blind, then he knew the reason of why the other dog was dragging her back when she walked a little fast. See, there are no bad dogs, just bad owners.
Absolutely. There's no point banning a breed - the people who want to train their dog to be an aggressive hostile creature will just find another breed to work on.
