I turned down a piano scholarship because of this very reason. when most of your time is so dedicated to it you lose your love for it, and only long to have those sweet time of it just being your way of loving life back.

I'm a vocal major and I play the piano as my second instrument. After a while you have to remind yourself why you love the thing you are doing so much.
