1. "They" is plural. Does the teacher consider itself more than one person?
2. I define myself as an irresistible porn star, and anyone who doesn't get down and $v(/ my (0(/ is failing to recognize my self proclaimed identity, and owes me $60,000.
I know this is supposed to be all fun and games for you "lol what special snowflakes" people. But come on, is it really that hard to respect people's pronouns? Saying "they" instead of she or he isn't gonna make the world end. Besides, people's identities shouldn't affect your life. If it does, that's your problem. Not theirs.
Is it really hard to not expect everyone to bow to people's every desire? it's understandable to prefer to be called by a particular pronoun however getting offended and paid because not everyone abides by those preferences just doesn't make any sense people should be allowed the right to not be forced to say something maybe they don't feel comfortable saying honestly the argument could go both ways as far as saying is it really that hard to respect other people's personal views and opinions nawaimean
Why the fuck would I call it "they"? Is "they" two or more conscious beings sharing one body? Is "they" a fucking alien? This has *NOTHING* to do with gender, but a need for affirmation of their identity which does not fit in current vocabulary.
You don't want to be defined by a gender-biased pronoun? Cool. I'll call you "you". You be you.
I'd be with CNN.
