Sure, the dead body doesn't care. Now just take a moment and picture a confused, heart broken 9 year old girl looking out the window of that car, seeing that maybe, just maybe, other people know what a valuable person daddy was. Funerals are for the living folks.
I am pretty sure it iis illegal to cause unnecessary traffic and extra hazards especially when is raining. A dead body is a dead body u cant bring it back but you can prevent extra deaths by not being so selfish that u have to show that you are giving respect to some dead person.you respect the dead by thinking of the living and preventing accidents.
They are dead bodies. Should I go pay respect to the ground? There is nothing special about a dead body. I see no reason to stop or pay respects. Dead people can't care about what people think.
It's not the body, it's a representation of the the person's life and impact on you.
If you defile a dead body, you are defiling that person and showing disrespect towards their loved ones.
He's fucking right. Respect is a construct. All it is is interpretation of actions. The real dicks here are the ones who want to force people into perpetuating this fucked-up belief system and verbally defile them if they do not.
Yes because that funeral procession that passed me on the highway has SO much to do with me. If I have no idea who the hell you are then I'm not going to fucking stand in the rain. I'm going to be cursing the idiotic law that says you have to. There is absolutely no reason to stop. Give a single reason why it is logical to stop for a funeral. It's dangerous, causes unnecessary hazards, and some vehicles can't stop like that. What happens when a car slowly stop. Not much. Now a car slowly stops with a speeding 18-Wheeler behind them? They fucking crash and now there is at least one more stupid procession to deal with.
Fun Fact: It's not illegal either! You do not have to stop for a funeral procession although they do have the right of way. http://law.justia.com/codes/georgia/2010/title-40/chapter-6/article-4/40-6-76
It could vary from state to state but the states I've randomly searched such as Ohio and my own Georgia have no law saying you must stop on either a two or four lane road.
I'm asking this seriously: Who hurt you?
