Maybe. Particularly if that classified information is about a potential terror attack against civilians, then yes. Absolutely.

Personally I think the whole Russia thing is not as big as the Dems are screaming. But even then, there's a myriad of things to criticize Trump for, both in his personal/business life (the Trump university fraud, the fact that he says "buy American hire American" but most of his businesses use foreign labor from Turkey, China, Bangladesh and so on…) and his presidency (the disaster that is Trumpcare, the fact that his first military strike killed 30 civilians and he has since expanded the wars, that he "drained the swamp" from Wall Street into his cabinet…), there are so many things but the Dems just keep feeding the Russia thing. It may turn out to be bigger than we expected, I mean some new stuff came up recently but I have yet to look into it before passing judgment, but my point is that if the Dems moved on from screaming "Russia Russia Russia!" and actually criticized the real shitty things he does, maybe they wouldn't keep losing so hard.

We are not talking about Walmart or the Post Office. This is the United States Military here. If a soldier, sailor, marine, or airman is going to throw a fit or disturb team dynamics over something that many still consider to be a mental illness, people WILL die.

If your perception of transgender people is "they throw a fit", then you clearly don't know anything. That's the SJWs who do that, being transgender has no connection to being an SJW, just look at Blaire White. Honestly it sounds like it'd be the bigots that think transgender people are weird and icky who would be throwing fits over this rather than trans people themselves.

Allow me to make myself clearer. The military is mostly conservative and/or Republican. I may be defensive of right wing viewpoints, but I am not ignorant of our flaws.

Fair enough. Still, I don't think the "let's not allow transgender people in the military because its conservative majority would get offended" approach is the correct one. Educate the soldiers, don't protect their ignorance by discriminating against another group.

That may work for the noncombatants, but on bases and in the field, it's best not to rock the boat no matter how good the intentions are.

They'll have to get used to trans people sooner or later. Delaying it won't help much. Now is a good time for a quick discipline break since ISIS was defeated in Mosul, though I suspect their attacks, or rather attacks of radicalized individuals that ISIS will later claim responsibility for, are far from over, and of course Iraq is not the only country with US troops. However, the situation is relatively good right now. Who knows how much worse will it get later? Because if (when) it does, will we just delay it? We can't delay it forever for the sake of morale.
