My sister (who has always been obsessed with low-carb eating) ate a BAG of shrimp before our first hot yoga class (she blames me for not telling her NOT to eat, but who the heck eats a bag of shrimp ever?), then laid on the floor moaning through the whole class. She couldn't move because she was going to barf up the shrimp in the 110 degree room. It was pretty funny. Just thought I would add that as an example of how yoga can help your depression.
That's not really how it works so before you lash out or someone lashes out at you, I suggest you read up a bit on the psychology and biology behind depression and get a little bit more educated.
Dude I have depression. It runs in my family. Point is, there are plenty of people with depression that don't take their lives. The person ultimately makes the choice, the illness doesn't manifest and do it for you.
My mistake I'm sorry for jumping to conclusions, I misunderstood and thought you were saying something like "It's them, they can just get better" sort of thing. Now you've explained I agree, it is ultimately the person but the depression can be the cause for the action. I think the post itself is trying to make people more aware of the issue and take mental health more seriously.
Well hey, I agree with you to some degree, my dad committed suicide 8 years ago, and while most of my family and I were left questioning things, I can confirm depression was one of the main reasons.
I don't know Carol, your healing crystals didn't work so I don't really trust you with this shit
